Whenever someone suggested to me that I write my own blog, my responses were either:

"I've got nothing to write about!" or "Who on Earth would want to read about me?!"

Oddly, I've had several people suggest I start writing and honestly, I have no idea why they'd suggest it. I suppose I've always loved to read, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm a talented writer!

So after over a year of having the idea suggested to me, I really decided to write a blog because I thought it would be a nice, dependable place to gather my thoughts.

So there's my reasoning behind this blog, I should introduce you to the person behind the blog too. My name's Saffy and I'm in my early twenties. I live in a farmhouse with my Farmer Fiancee, our baby boy Bear and all of our animals!

After giving birth, I found myself falling out of love with riding my horse but luckily, 8 months later, I think I've fallen back in love again. My blog will be a way for me to document my journey back into the world of competitive riding (if my nerves hold up!). But, I'll also be throwing in some new mum/farm life/ country living/ DIY decor posts too!
