Brand Spotlight! The softest little shoes in the world?

*Disclaimer before I begin: This blog post is in now way endorsed or sponsored by Little Shoos; it is not administered by the brand and it is not to be associated with them. All opinions are my own.*

I have been following the brand Little Shoos on Instagram since before Ted was born. I think it was my sister-in-law that tagged me in one of their posts advertising some seriously sweet green Tractor shoes.

Teddy is now almost 6 months old and recently he's discovered just how entertaining it is to pull his socks off and fling them around or chew them. Yay! As the temperature drops I started to worry about him getting cold. Especially during early mornings spent at the yard, or checking on the sheep and cattle with Will. It can get seriously chilly speeding around the farm on the mule. I do normally tuck a blanket around him, but if he's awake, he'll pull the blanket up to his mouth to chew, leaving his toes exposed.

When I saw a post from Little Shoos pop up on my feed a few days ago, I had a scroll through their website. They claim that their shoes do not fall off. They are also incredibly reasonably priced so I went ahead and ordered Teddy some tractor ones!

Within two days they arrived in some funky packaging, inside a little gauze bag, and a business card tucked in with them. My first thought was that they look massive! This really surprised me because on their Facebook pages they had said: "Please note sizes are generous". When I saw this I took them on their word and ordered Ted 0-6 months, instead of the 6-12 month ones I had originally selected but I wasn't expecting them to be that generous! When I opened them and saw the size of them I was pleasantly surprised, I was going to get a lot more wear out of them than I had expected to which is a win in my book.

My second thought upon opening the shoes were just how soft they are. They have a dove grey suede sole, which is thin, but not too thin. I think for a toddler just learning to walk they'd be perfect, comfortable on harder floors but thick enough to protect little feet. The upper half is light green and brown with a tractor motif sewn on top. These gorgeous shoes are hand stitched and have a thick band of elastic around the heel. The thick elastic means that the pressure from the elastic is distributed over a wider surface area across the heel; which means baby doesn't get left with any red indents on their tiny feet if they wear the shoes for a few hours.

I've always been wary about putting shoes on Ted unless they are super soft and flexible. I just think that growing baby feet need room to move and stretch, but the wide shape of the Little Shoos means Ted is free to move his feet however he wants to. I don't have to worry about losing them because the elastic heel means they stay put even when Ted is trying his hardest to pull them off! For colder weather, the generous size and shape of the design means I can pop some socks on underneath them.

I thought that shoes that wouldn't fall off would equal tightness, and be uncomfortable for Ted. Little Shoos have completely proven me wrong. I can't recommend them enough!

My only downside to them would be I wish they had more designs. At the time of writing, they had 18 different types available which sounds like a lot but I want there to be more! I know for sure that next on my list to buy will be the lions and the puppy ones. I also adore the strawberry ones and there are some seriously cute little bird ones too.

Their reasonable price, fast delivery and beautiful craftmanship makes these the perfect stocking filler for your little ones. Sizes go up to 12 months but like I mentioned, they're very generous.

Did I mention they have free delivery to the UK?

Happy shopping, and thank you Little Shoos for keeping my little ones feet toasty warm!
